The Border Police decided on Sunday evening to reinforce its forces operating in the Yitzhar area, following the clashes with locals during the arrest of Neriah Zarog, who violated an administrative order.
"The defense establishment sees every attempt to harm fighters and policemen as very serious and will continue to curb the violence that in recent weeks has become a regular pattern of action by a group of lawbreakers in the Yitzhar area," a Border Police spokesperson said.
