Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said at the official state memorial observance to mark the 24th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin that political polemic must be separated from Rabin's murder.
Refering to debate on moves made by Rabin before he was assassinated, Netanyahu said, "The polemic was legitimate. The protest was legitimate. What was not legitimate was to call Rabin a traitor and a murderer."
