The Lod District Court this morning convicted Sergei Pogrebnoy, 42, of Netanya for murder of his mother Yekaterina Sverdlov two years ago, with a reduced charge.
He was convicted with a plea bargain in which he admitted the act, and is expected to serve 18 months in prison.
