16 Israelis detained in Kiev will be returned to Israel

The 16 Israelis who have been detained at Kiev airport since morning (Thursday) returned to Israel.

During the day, they underwent extensive searches and were fingerprinted.

The Foreign Ministry says the background to the incident is still unclear.
