MK and Former Mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat (Likud) attacked controversial head of the UK Labour party, Jeremy Corbyn, saying:

"AntiSemitism in the UK is on the rise, the opposition is led by AntiSemitic views and many Jews live in fear. It has been announced that almost half the members of the Jewish community say they will leave the UK if Corbyn comes to power.

This morning, the official newspaper of the British Jewish community, the Jewish Chronicle, chose to cover its front page with a special article calling on non-Jewish residents of the country ahead of the upcoming election not to vote for Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party because of its AntiSemitic views and concerns."

MK Nir Barkat also addressed a special message to Jeremy Corbyn, "When you attack one of us, you attack all of us. You have to understand that in 2019 we will not suffer AntiSemitism. You attack Israel's legitimacy by promoting hatred of the Jewish state, you bring shame on yourself and embarrass your party," he added.

MK Barkat also addresses members of the Jewish community in the United Kingdom:
"We are always here for you and if you choose to immigrate to Israel we will welcome you with open arms. No enemy will ever defeat us because we will never surrender."
