In a post in Twitter, MK Naftali Bennett (New Right) responded to MK Yair Lapid's (Blue & White) comments, writing:
"Yair Lapid, Arab terror is fueled by Arab hopes to break our spirit and desire to live here and develop here in the Land of Israel. Construction and settlement of the land create the opposite effect: it discourages them from this hopeless idea. The founding fathers of Israel understood this — from Kiryat Shemona and on."
