In response to a petition by the Lavi Center for Human Rights and Administration on Wednesday, the state has agreed to the publication of the very existence of a gag order on an investigation into police pressure on state witness Nir Hefetz in the corruption cases against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
Publication of the order's contents is still forbidden. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Sunday. The prosecution intends to request an extension of the order.
