The National Planning and Building Council has decided that the National Master Plan for Strengthening Existing Earthquake Buildings, Tama 38, will be completed in about 3 years, in October 2022.
The council's decision states, among other things, that the current form of the plan has not achieved the main goal for which it was established and, among other things, it is doesn't focus on risk areas.
