Chairwoman Ayelet Shaked of the New Right Party told an Anti-Defamation conference on Tuesday, "There is a difference between Arab society and its representatives in the Knesset."
Addressed the possibility of forming a narrow left-wing government with the support of the Arab parties, she explained, "If the Arab MKs were busy improving the lives of Arab citizens and not establishing a Palestinian state, there would be room to talk. [Chairman] Ayman Ode [of the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties] does not believe in the State of Israel as Jewish and democratic."
