Minister of Transportation Betzalel Smotrich notified Finance Committee Chairman Moshe Gafni in the committee's meeting about his office's budget that "the plan for discounted travel for yeshiva students on public transportation is being launched and promoted in these days."
The outline says that the plan for yeshiva students will be in accordance with the the one for university students, who are eligible for a discount on public transportation at a rate of 33%, or 50% for a yearly discount.
