The Association for the War against Cancer announced on the occasion of Lung Cancer Awareness Month that the proportion of Jewish men suffering from the disease has dropped significantly in the last two decades, in line with declined smoking rates among this population group.
In contrast, among Jewish women, lung cancer levels increased by about two percent.
