Dozens of protesters in Iraq attacked the Iranian consulate in the city of Karbala on Sunday night.
Eyewitnesses quoted by Al Jazeera said the protesters scaled the concrete barriers around the building, brought down an Iranian flag and replaced it with the Iraqi flag. Security forces fired in the air to disperse the protesters.
