Member of Knesset Yair Lapid (Blue and White) has criticized the continued investment in a special plane for the prime minister's and the president.
Referring to the United States' Air Force 1, Lapid said he told Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, "You don't need this aircraft. Not when this country doesn't manage to fund emergency rooms. It didn't help at all. Bibi just doesn't care. Today they presented the plane. The price? 729 million shekels. When we are in the government, we will sell it and transfer the money where it is really needed."
