Hendel: Rabbi Sadan's participation in demonstration was unfortunate

MK Yoaz Hendel (Blue and White) on Tuesday night criticized the decision of Rabbi Eli Sadan, head of the "Bnei David" institutions, to attend a demonstration of support of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in Petah Tikva.

In a tweet, Hendel first addressed Justice Minister Amir Ohana's attack on the State Prosecutor's Office and wrote, “Amir Ohana used to work for the Israel Security Agency. A serious guy who swore to a code of ethics and saw the good of the country. I was ashamed of him today.”

"Rabbi Eli Sadan, an Israel Prize laureate, has set up a tremendous initiative of preparatory courses. Raised flags of unity, statehood and the people of Israel. His participation in a rally against the prosecution and the media in the name of the worship of Netanyahu is far more unfortunate,” added Hendel.
