Facebook, which also owns the "WhatsApp" messaging app, is suing the Israeli cyber company NSO on the grounds that it allegedly broke into users' WhatsApp accounts earlier this year.
The lawsuit, filed in a United States court, alleged that the break ins targeted the accounts of journalists, diplomats, human rights activists and other government officials.
