In a post on Twitter, MK Merav Michaeli (Labor-Gesher) said that:
" Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated as prime minister who was chairman of the Labor Party, working to realize a ideology of peace between the State of Israel and a Palestinian state. The Labor Party continues to fight for this ideology under our chairman Amir Peretz."
