In a post on Twitter, US President Donald Trump claimed that the US has neutralized the likely successor to the deceased 'self-declared' caliph of the Islamic State, writing:
"Just confirmed that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s number one replacement has been terminated by American troops. Most likely would have taken the top spot - Now he is also Dead!"
