Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu convened a special hearing Monday evening to promote a program to deal with the phenomena of violence and crime in Arab society.
Netanyahu has instructed the establishment of a team headed by Acting Director-General Ronen Peretz of the Prime Minister's Office, to formulate a national plan to combat violence and crime in Arab society within 90 days.
The team will include the relevant ministerial managers and the National Security Council, and will also have a dialogue with the heads of the Arab local authorities.
