6.8-magnitude earthquake felt in the Philippines

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake was felt on Mindanao island in the southern Philippines on Tuesday morning (local time), the US Geological Survey said.

The earthquake struck less than 100 kilometers (60 miles) from Davao City.
