Initial reports: A mass shooting has occurred at a Homecoming party at Texas A&M Commerce overnight. There are at least two fatalities, with more than a dozen injured.
Jason Whitel, Senior Reporter at WFAA-TV Channel 8 tweeted that a .227 caliber rifle was believed to be used and that the motive is unknown.
Whitel noted that Commerce, Texas sits in Hunt County, an hour east of Dallas.
