MK Nir Barkat (Likud) said this evening (Wednesday) to Blue & White Chairman MK Benny Gantz who was given the mandate to assemble the government from President Rivlin.
"Benny, I know you want the best for the country but you know it is not yet your time to be prime minister.
16 years ago when I entered the public system, I spent five years in the system before I took office the mayor of Jerusalem. I recommend that you do something similar".
"Now is the time to form a broad unity government led by Netanyahu, which will preserve and develop our beloved state. And a little tip, don't build on our 'rebellion'. It won't happen," Barkat said.
