Prison, fine for Muslim convicted of assisting Temple Mount attack

A 16-year prison sentence and a $500,000 fine were sentenced to Amjad Jabarin convicted of assisting in a homicide attack in which two police officers Kamil Shanan and Hail Sathawi were murdered. Jabarin was unanimously convicted by a three-judge panel.

Kamil's father, former MK Shakib Shanan, protested in the courtroom that Jabarin was not sentenced to life in prison.
