Sephardic Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef eulogized, Tuesday morning, Rabbi Nissim Karelitz who passed away late Monday evening.
Rabbi Yosef said, "Rabbi Nissim Karlitz of righteous blessed memory, was one of the pillars of the halakhic [Jewish legal -ed.] rulings and teaching. Despite the halachic controversies, he always acted humbly, along with judging according to his truth without fear and impartiality. Certainly there is no doubt that his uncle the Hazon Ish of righteous blessed memory is coming out with every party of Heaven to receive the one who continued his path for decades."
