A tragedy in New Square occurred on Friday when 8-year old Yosef Goldman, the great-grandchild of the Skverer Rebbe, drowned, according to a report by Yeshivah World News.
Yosef was with his family on a boat on Haverstraw Bay Park and the boat overturned. The family members were all rescued but Yosef couldn't be found. Eventually, a rescue boat found him and rushed him to the hospital but he died about an hour later
