Israel Aerospace Industries recently signed an agreement with General Electric subsidiary GE Capital Aviation Services to convert Boeing 777-300ER wide-body dual-engine aircraft to cargo planes, the first of which is expected to be delivered to GECAS by 2022.
Under the Big Twin joint program, 15 aircraft will be supplied to the company, with an option to convert 15 additional aircraft. GECAS is one of the world's largest aircraft rental companies providing services to 250 customers in over 75 countries around the world.
