Chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu Party, MK Avigdor Liberman spoke about the formation of a government, saying:
"It's hard to talk about the controversy and the debates during Sukkot and the only conclusion is that we should all gather around a broad liberal national unity government. There is room for everyone as I outlined. We are waiting to hear from Netanyahu that he has dismantled the Haredi-Messianic bloc of his."
"We are, however, still waiting for a response from the Likud negotiating team on our request to begin meetings and to formulate basic principles that are acceptable to most of the people of Israel," Liberman added.
