The Samarian Jewish community of Brukhin held a ceremony on Tuesday, dedicating the square at its entrance to the memory of Ariel Darsinover, who was killed at the scene last year in a collision between the vehicle in which he was riding and a Palestinian Authority truck while he was en route to the Brukhin Preparatory Academy.

The square was established following pressure exerted by Darsinover's parents, Yehuda and Rivka, in an effort to reduce road accidents at the entrance to the town. Tuesday also marked the second running of a foot race in Ariel's memory.
