The Syrian Human Rights Monitoring Center reports that Kurdish forces have completely taken over the Turkish-Syrian border town of Ras Al-Ain.
It has also been reported that United States forces are preventing Syrian forces from entering the border town of Kobane (Kobanî, officially Ayn al-Arab).
