Hamas has expressed support for Turkey'swidespread military action in northern Syria, in which hundreds of Kurds have been killed by the Turkish military and murdered by Turkey-backed militias.
In a statement, the terror group said, "We understand Turkey's right to defend its border, defend itself and remove the threats that are detrimental to its national security in the face of the futile activity of the Zionist institution in the region striving to compromise Arab and Islamic national security."
