Cyprus sent two firefighting aircraft to help Lebanese firefighters extinguish a massive fire near the village of Meshref, south of Beirut on Tuesday, according to Lebanon's Daily Star.
The blaze broke out on Monday. Firefighters were hampered in their efforts by the presence of land mines from Lebanon's civil war.
