Naama Issachar's friends addressed a letter to various Knesset Members asking them to publicly declare their support for the struggle for the liberation of the young woman. This was reported in Channel 13 News.
26-year-old Issachar was arrested in Moscow four months ago and convicted of smuggling 9.5 grams of cannabis. On Friday, she was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.
