Students of convicted sex offender Rabbi Eliezer Berland's broke into the great synagogue of the Breslov community in the Mea She'arim neighborhood during Yom Kippur, turned on the lights and air conditioners and performed prayers at the site, as was the case last year.
The students also vandalized the "The Shul", which had been locked after worshipers received information that Berland would try to come with his disciples and pray there.
