The head of the Jewish community in Halle, Max Freiborotsky, strongly criticized German police activity in response to attacks against members of his community.
"It took the police to arrive at least ten minutes after I called and warned of an armed attack on the synagogue. There have been security problems in the past and we have already said that the police should secure the synagogues," said Freiborotsky.
