Attorney Adi Kedar of the Honenu legal-aid organization has made an urgent request to Commissioner Asher Vaknin of the Prisons Service to allow Amiram Ben-Oliel - accused in the Duma arson case - and another Jewish security prisoner to pray in a minyan (quorum) and synagogue on Yom Kippur.

The two prisoners are each locked up in an isolated cell at the Hasharon Prison. In addition to not being allowed to pray in a minyan, they are not given telephone access and are allowed to leave their cells for only one hour a day to go around the wing, isolated from every other prisoner.
