A prayerbook for Yom Kippur was recently discovered, along with a one-of-a-kind single printed page of prayer unknown until now by Rabbi Ḥayyim ben Moshe ibn Attar, the biblical commentator also known as the Or ha-Ḥayyim.

The page was printed on its own, probably in Livorno, about the same time as the prayerbook, in 5552 1791-92. The page is not listed in the Jewish Bibliography and does not appear in the National Library catalog. As far as is known, it is the only copy in the world of this page. The page and the prayerbook will go on sale at the Kedem auction house in Jerusalem at an estimated price of more than $3,000.
