The acting Israeli ambassador to Amman was summoned to the Jordanian Foreign Ministry and received a protest letter for the continued detention of two Jordanian civilians, as well as what the letter called their improper detention conditions.
Channel 13 News reported that the pair were arrested last month as they crossed the Allenby Bridge on their way to a wedding in Israel.
