The prosecution has submitted an indictment in the Central District Court, charging 27-year-old Murad Ades of Jaljulia with the lightheaded death of a Chinese citizen and drunken driving.
According to the indictment, Ades, a "new driver", was driving a BMW on Route 483 last March under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. Approaching the intersection with Highway 444, he entered a sharp curve at 136 kilometers an hour and lost control of the vehicle, hitting the guard rail and overturning. The car hit the victim, who was riding an electric bicycle.
