Flu vaccines that were due to arrive late this year, in early November, will not arrive in full, Kan 11 News reported on Thursday.

According to the report, some of the health maintenance organizations have been notified by the pharmaceutical companies that produce the flu vaccines that not all the vaccines ordered will arrive early next month. One HMO was notified that only half of the vaccines that were due next month would arrive and another HMO was informed it would receive even less. This is due to a global shortage of vaccines.
