Thirteen pallets bearing tens of thousands of "koishelach" - holders of three of the four species used in Succot rituals - were transferred from Gaza to other parts of Israel via the Kerem Shalom crossing on Thursday in coordination with the Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration.

The holder is made from a woven leaf of the lulav palm, one of the species, the other two being willow and myrtle. Uri Madar, the administration's agriculture coordinator, said, "This is a wonderful example of the steps we take year-round. Good measures for agriculture and helping markets on both sides, Israeli and Palestinian."
