Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan is holding an emergency hearing with the police commissioner and the Police Command, which is presents him with the steps and plans that will be implemented immediately to deal with the rise in violence and homicides in Arab communities.
Erdan said, "The situation in the sector today is an emergency and the police must use all its capabilities and fight violence in the Arab sector just as it is fighting terrorism. It is criminal terrorism that harms the general public and needs to be eradicated."
