MK Gabi Ashkenazi will head Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee

Member of Knesset Gabi Ashkenazi (Blue and White) will be appointed chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.

The former Israel Defense Forces chief of staff succeeds the Likud's Avi Dichter.
