Members of the 22nd Knesset are scheduled to declare allegiance at its festive inaugural meeting on Thursday.
The members of the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties are expected to be absent from the ceremony in protest of what they called "police helplessness" in dealing with violence in the Arab sector.
