Chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu Party, MK Avigdor Lieberman addressed the difficulties of putting together a government.
in an interview with Maariv, Liberman said that "the last thing the country needs today is a third round of elections. Even if new elections are held, the political map will not change substantially. Therefore, an informed solution must be made and all personal considerations must be left aside."
Liberman also said he hoped that "the bilateral framework between the Likud and the Blue & White can still be advanced, far beyond what we have seen to date, but if Yom Kippur is not a breakthrough, Yisrael Beiteinu will make its own proposal to both factions."
