Maariv reports that MK Avigdor Liberman said at a meeting of the Yisrael Beyteinu party: "The last thing the country needs today is a third round of elections. It seems that even if new elections are held, the political map won't change significantly. So an informed solution must be reached and all personal and ego considerations be put aside."
Liberman also said he hopes "the bilateral framework between the Likud and Blue and White can still be advanced, far beyond what we've seen to date, but if by Yom Kippur there's no breakthrough, Yisrael Beyteinu will make its own bid to both factions. In any case, from Yom Kippur we'll go into high-gear to form a government."
