Politico reported the US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani agreed to a 4 point plan presented to both of them by French President Emmanuel Macron at the UN General Assembly as a basis for a meeting and relaunching negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.
Both sides agreed to the deal but Iran pulled out at the last moment with Iranian President Rouhani insisting that Trump give an indication before any meeting that U.S. sanctions would be lifted, a French official said.
