Police arrested a foreign resident on Thursday, after he committing a traffic violation on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem, and then interfered with police officers and attacking them.
The man was riding an electric bicycle on the road without giving the pedestrian right-of-way in the crosswalk, endangering them. When he was detained by the police, he began to disturb and oppose the police violently, cursing and scolding them, after they attempted to remove the air from the bicycle wheels according to the authority given to them by law, which forced them to arrest him.
At the time of the arrest of the suspect, continued to attack the policeman, attacking him with a helmet. The suspect in his 50s was arrested for questioning on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and taken for medical examination after claiming he did not feel well.
