In a post on Twitter, Prime Minister Netanyahu congratulated the first female Air-force squadron commander, writing:
"On behalf of the people of Israel, I congratulate Colonel C, who was appointed as the first female commander of an Air Force squadron. You are a role model and inspiration for thousands of women in the State of Israel. proud of you."
