Taxation and economics attorney Liat Ben Ari, a prosecutor in the Netanyahu corruption cases, was appointed deputy state attorney on Thursday.
The appointment was approved despite an attempt by Justice Ministy Acting Director-General Sigal Jacoby's attempt to cancel the tender, claiming there was no need to staff the position.
