Chairman Yaakov Asher of the United Torah Judaism Knesset faction said on Thursday that he has not received a response from Prime Minister/Acting Welfare minister Binyamin Netanyah or Welfare Ministry Director General Avigdor Kaplan on his demand for an immediate freeze on an increase in tuition paid by the parents of children in daycare centers.
At the same time, Asher said, "In the coming days the issue will be explored in depth and it is hoped that there will be a positive development and relief of the burden of payments, for the benefit of thousands of families from all walks of life across the country."
