Member of Knesset Yoaz Hendel (Blue-and-White) said this morning, "If the Likud would be freed from many elements that are now holding back a unity government, then we could reach a unity government. If another person would now sit [as prime minister] instead of Netanyahu, a unity government would be signed in half a minute."
Interviewed by public radio, Hendel also said, "There is a significant problem with the Joint List [of predominantly Arab parties] - they harm coexistence in the State of Israel and I do not see them in any future government that could emerge, but I think we have a responsibility to integrate Israeli Arabs with rights and obligations."
